The Nextorch TA30CS has the same features as the TA30C, ONLY the OPERATOR end cap switch and the colour is different. You get the TA30CS in a sand colour with the same coloured FR-1 guide ring.
Why the OPERATOR end cap switch:
With the OPERATOR switch, it is possible to reduce the light intensity to a maximum of 300 lumens by simply turning the tail switch.
Many users have criticised the fact that in access scenarios, e.g. in flats, the risk of glare from your own torch is very high - there is often a white wall a short distance behind the entrance door, or worse: a mirror! The reflection there and the associated glare repeatedly puts emergency services in awkward situations. The reduction to a maximum brightness of 300 lumens can be adjusted quickly and safely even in complete darkness when wearing gloves.
If the situation requires it and you need to confuse the troublemaker immediately with the strobe flash, all you need to do is press the rear switch hard and the TA30CS will flash with a full 1600 ANSI lumens. The tactical tail switch has two levels: In the first stage, the TA30C delivers either 300 or 1600 ANSI LUMEN* - depending on what was previously selected by the rotary switch.
In the second stage, which is easy to feel via clear feedback to the thumb, you get the strobe flash, which always fires at 1600 lumens.
The pressure switch at the rear does not engage! It is purely tactical and ensures that the TA30CS only lights up when the switch is pressed - this is particularly important, for example, to avoid becoming a tactical target yourself because you give away your own position ‘thanks’ to the permanent light.
The most important feature of the TA30CS has been retained: the uncompromisingly simple and stress-proof operating concept with the patented ring switch.
The TA30CS also has the strobe function, the nano-ceramic glass breaker on the lamp crown and the battery charge level indicator.
With the tested 1,600 ANSI lumens, the battery life is approx. 2.5 hours. Dimmed down to the lowest level, it can even provide 50 hours of light on a single charge.
The supplied 18650 battery now has a new USB-C charging connection, which makes charging even faster and no special charger is required; a mobile phone charger, a power bank or the USB port in the car are sufficient.
An LED built into the battery indicates when the battery is fully charged. If there is no way to charge the battery of the TA30CS, two CR123 batteries can also be used.
